2024 Winter Jam is an exciting night for Middle School & High School youth to come together to worship Jesus and/or start a relationship with Jesus. For more information about the 2024 Winter Jam please go to https://jamtour.com/ .

Who can go?

Middle School & High School youth. Do we need adults to drive and oversee the group? Yes! If you are interested in going with us please contact Josh Riffle at [email protected].

What to bring?  

General Items: Dress for the weather outside, money (debt card or money to transfer onto a gift card), ear protection is recommended for people with sensitive earring because the concert is loud! If you have questions about specific items that you can and cannot bring in the venue please click on the link below. PLEASE NOTE: The Schottenstein Center IS cashless. Please make accommodations for your Middle School or High School youth to pay for their food and merchandise.

Why are we going?

VCYouth goes to Winter Jam to give Middle School and High School youth the opportunity to enjoy live Christian music from Christian artist. Most importantly, Winter Jam gives youth the opportunity to start a relationship with Jesus as well.

Where do we meet?

We will meet at Village Chapel Church in the youth building on Saturday, January 27th at 2pm. We will load up in pre-approved vehicles with re-approved drivers. We will drive up to the Schottenstein Center together to get in line for Jam Nation. After the concert we will all load up in the same vehicles and drive back to Village Chapel.  Parents can pick up their son or daughter at Village Chapel. We usually arrive at Village Chapel between 10:45pm-11pm.

November Middle School & High School LifeGROup Schedule 

For the month of November  we are having the Pumpkin Games at Middle School LifeGroup & High School LifeGroups along with Friendsgiving.
The Pumpkin games are simple and fun activities that we do during our meetings to engage youth. We still have a Bible lesson, musical worship, and small group time.
Friendsgiving is a night when Middle School and High School youth can invite friends to sit down and eat a meal together and enjoy each others company.

Family Resources

"Hope is coming" is a 25 day  Advent devotional for youth or youth and their families.  Each day there is scripture to read, a sample prayer, and  how to apply what you have read.  Enjoy your time in God's Word. 
Weekly LifeGroup (Youth Group) meetings
All meetings are in the youth building of Village Chapel Church 

High School LifeGroup
Sundays - 6pm-8pm
(meeting times might very during breaks and summer break)
HS LifeGroup (9th-12th grade) is designed to help High School youth to be a disciple to make a disciple. Each meeting has games, snacks, large group lesson, and small groups.

Wednesdays - 6:30pm-8pm

MS LifeGroup (6th-8th grade) is designed to help Middle School youth to be a disciple to make a disciple. Each meeting has games, snacks, large group lesson, and small groups.

Sunday Grow Group
Sundays- 9:30pm-10:15am
(meeting times might very during breaks and summer break)
This grow group is designed to help Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers study God’s word. This group is open to MS & HS youth. They meet every 6-weeks.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

If a level 2 or 3 snow emergency is declared any time after 3:00 pm on a Wednesday or Sunday night, all Wednesday night  or Sunday night children and youth programming are cancelled. If a level 1 snow emergency is in affect Wednesday or Sunday night programming will take place but parents are asked to use their own discretion. If weather is forecasted to worsen and potentially exceed a level 1 snow emergency, all Wednesday or Sunday night programming will be cancelled and the cancellation communicated via email, texting system ,social media and local media outlets such as channel 10 news.
